Our strict quality control in each production stage — storage, transport and distribution — guarantees a high quality honey for the customer.

To produce high quality honey we only extract ripe honey with cold uncapping devices in order to guarantee its moisture under 18.5%.

Our very low acidity and HMF levels confirm a professional processing and handling from the time of the extraction up to moment it’s delivered to the customer.

As beekeepers we avoid using smoke when removing honey supers. It is also important that the honey is not left above the escape for more than two or three days.

Regarding the storage we have a disposal that keeps relative humidity under 65 %.

In order to avoid residues in our honey and wax, we don’t treat our bee hives during periods of honey production. During the spring, the treatments are discontinued four weeks before the anticipated honey flow.

We use drugs and sanitary control methods only if authorized by SENASA (National Service of Agro-feeding Sanity) and organic acid, which do not contaminate the wax and honey.

30% of the bee wax is replaced annually, and all our honey supers are removed at the end of the last harvest in order to avoid any kind of contact with the supers in case an autumn treatment needs to be done.

Honey is extracted in cold centrifugal machines that use the latest technology and are all made of stainless steel.

The next process is the maturation in decanters. This lets the honey settle, and allows the bubbles that developed during the extraction to dissolve before the drums filling process takes place.
